Every weekend, compass kids learn that living a life of faith is the biggest, most exciting adventure of their lives! Compass Kids learn a blueprint for how they fit into God’s plan, and how to apply that plan at home, at school, or wherever.
In addition to our weekly time together, several special events are hosted for kids throughout the year — musicals and dramas, fun outings, Vacation Bible School and much more!
INFANTS & TODDLERS
A kids first experience in a church family ought to be a positive time of being loved and nurtured. It is also a time for parents to experience their own worship and learning with complete confidence that the needs of their precious ones are being cared for by competent, loving people in a safe environment.
PRESCHOOL & K-5TH GRADES
Compass Church is eager for kids to know that they matter to God and to us. The Bible is taught in a child-targeted, relevant, and creative way. Using large group activities, skits, music, and stories, as well as small group activities and discussion, the emphasis is on building life-changing relationships and putting truth into action.
MOTHER'S ROOM
All kids are encouraged to participate in the compass kids program during services, especially those 5 and under. It is understandable that you or your kids may feel uncomfortable being separated during worship services. So, a Mother's Room, located outside of the main auditorium, is available should your baby or young child become fussy or noisy during the service. Please utilize this room so as not to be a distraction to the rest of the worshippers.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL 2010
Our High Seas Expedition was a huge success and just a small part of what we do here at Compass Church! Thank you to all that donated and/or participated! We had over 240 kids from our community learning about Jesus from the 60+ volunteers during the week. What an amazing adventure!
