The WiensAFRICA
Merle and Claudia Wiens, and their children Pamela and Mark, minister in Kenya, East Africa with the LEAD Ministry (Leadership Education And  Development). LEAD consists of mobile teams that will endeavor to equip African church leaders for effective ministry in their context. The goal of this ministry is to see effective church planting movements begin. Additionally, through this ministry we provide a scholarship to assist an African student to complete Bible college and prepare for ministry. This year we are assisting Severino Maira Janus, a pastor from Sudan who is very active in establishing churches who is attending Kampala School of Theology in Uganda and will attend graduate school in Nairobi next year.
