ABOUT THIS MINISTRY

City Reach Ministry is the “SEND team” of Compass Church. Our mission is to reach out to those in need within our community and show them the love of Jesus through our words and actions.

City Reach does quarterly service events, and helps throughout the year as we are made aware of needs within Compass and our community. These events include, but are not limited to, serving the homeless both physically and spiritually, ministering to the elderly, cleaning and renovating local schools, neighborhood cleanup and food drives.

We are always looking for passionate people to serve on our planning team and to volunteer for the various service events. If you have the desire to be the hands and feet of Jesus to a hurting world, City Reach needs you!

Prison Ministry:

Compass has a growing and exciting prison ministry. Twice a week teams go in and hold worship services with the inmates at Perryville Prison in Goodyear.
