SERVING OPPORTUNITIES AT COMPASS CHURCH

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

KidQuest. People needed to serve in all services: Nursery, 2's class, Preschool teachers and assistants, Elementary age teachers and assistants, Registration. Also need people to do music with the kids on a rotating basis in various age groups. Email compasskids@compasschurch.info.

F.L.I.T. (Future Leader In Training) Program. Middle and High School students who enjoy caring for young children. Students needed to assist adult workers in various Children's Ministry areas. Training coming up soon. Email compasskids@compasschurch.info for more information or to sign-up.

SUNDAY MORNING ACTIVITIES

Greeters. Be responsible to give a friendly smile and warm handshake to everyone coming to Sunday services. Greeters required to arrive 30 minutes prior to each service on Sunday mornings and stay on duty until 10 minutes into each service. Email firsttouch@compasschurch.info.

Usher Team. Serving as a head and/or team usher for designated services. Duties include serving the people attending services by handing out programs, seating people, monitor heating/cooling of the auditorium, receive/secure morning offering, distribute communion elements, etc. Time required: Actual service time plus arriving 30 minutes prior to the service. Also looking for a person to lead the usher team - additional tasks outside of Sunday morning including scheduling in our online tool. Training provided. Email firsttouch@compasschurch.info.

Hospitality Team. Additional team members needed once a month to help serve the Discover Compass and Membership Classes. This includes setting up the rooms, making sure materials and pens are available for the attendees. This team also prepares and serves the classes a meal, and while our guests are eating they restore the classroom and then clean up after the dinner; tearing down and putting away tables, chairs and supplies (booklets, pens, completed forms) used in the classes. WORSHIP ARTS

Audio/Visual and Production Operators. Be responsible to operate the video equipment, live production, sound, lights and/or projection equipment during Sunday services. Attendance at Thursday evening rehearsals required as well as being on duty from 6:30 AM on Sundays until conclusion of the final service. Training provided. Email worship@compasschurch.info.
